This Shipping & Returns Policy governs the shipment, return, and refund of products purchased from Ursa Arctic Supply (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders for in-stock items are typically processed within 2–5 business days after payment is received and cleared.
Processing times may vary due to:
- Product availability
- Seasonal volume
- Custom or artisan items
- Verification requirements
- Regulatory or documentation requirements
Processing time does not include shipping transit time.
We reserve the right to delay shipment if additional verification, documentation, or compliance review is required.
PRODUCTS REQUIRING DIRECT SHIPPING COORDINATION
Certain products are not immediately available for standard checkout shipping rates due to:
- Size
- Weight
- Shape
- Fragility
- High value
- Regulatory considerations
- Special packaging requirements
These products may include (but are not limited to):
- Large fossil specimens
- Ivory or regulated materials
- Oversized tools
- High-value collectible items
- Custom or one-of-a-kind pieces
For these items:
- The customer must contact Ursa Arctic Supply directly to determine available shipping methods, insurance requirements, handling needs, and final shipping pricing.
- Final shipping costs may differ from standard checkout estimates.
- Shipment will not occur until shipping terms and final pricing are confirmed and accepted by the customer.
We reserve the right to refuse shipment of any item to any location where shipment would violate applicable law.
SHIPPING METHODS & RISK OF LOSS
Shipping methods are selected at checkout or arranged directly for special-handling items.
- Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer when the order is delivered to the carrier.
- Ursa Arctic Supply is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or events outside our control.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
For high-value items, signature confirmation and insurance may be required.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Customers are responsible for:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Brokerage fees
- Permits or documentation
- Compliance with local laws regarding restricted items
Ursa Arctic Supply is not responsible for items seized, delayed, or denied entry by customs authorities.
No refunds will be issued for items confiscated due to the purchaser’s failure to comply with applicable laws.
RETURNS ELIGIBILITY
We accept returns on eligible items within [14 or 30] days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
To be eligible for return:
- The item must be unused and in original condition.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging.
- The customer must provide proof of purchase.
- The customer must obtain return authorization before shipping the item back.
Returns shipped without prior authorization may be refused.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are final sale and non-returnable, unless required by law:
- Custom or commissioned items
- Special-order items
- Items that required direct shipping coordination
- Ivory or fossil materials once shipped internationally
- Used knives, tools, or edged products
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling
We reserve the right to determine return eligibility at our sole discretion.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
- We recommend insured and trackable shipping.
- Ursa Arctic Supply is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
INSPECTION & APPROVAL OF RETURNS
All returned items will be inspected upon receipt.
- We may deny a refund if the item shows signs of use, damage, alteration, or missing components.
- We may deduct a restocking fee of up to [10–20%] for eligible returns.
- We may deduct repair or cleaning costs if applicable.
REFUND PROCESSING
If a return is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
- Refund processing typically occurs within 5–10 business days after inspection and approval.
- Your financial institution may require additional time to post the refund.
Refunds will include:
- The purchase price of the returned item
Refunds will not include:
- Original shipping charges (unless due to our error)

- Return shipping costs (unless due to our error)
If payment was made via a method that is no longer valid, we may issue store credit at our discretion.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
- You must notify us within 5 days of delivery.
- You may be required to provide photographs and retain original packaging.
- Claims made outside this timeframe may be denied.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders may only be canceled prior to shipment.
Special-order items and custom products may not be eligible for cancellation once processing has begun.
EXCHANGES
Exchanges, if permitted, are handled as a return and new purchase.
REFUSAL OF SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse service, limit quantities, or cancel transactions at our discretion.
