The ulu is the traditional knife of Alaskan Natives, used by the Inupiat, Yupik, & Aleut peoples for over 4,000 years.
Inspired by this history and its unquestionable credentials as the knife of the North, we’ve created a modern spin on this Alaskan classic. The pocket-sized design makes it perfect for on-the-go tasks, while maintaining the same traditional cutting & scraping capabilities of a traditional ulu. Handle materials include dymond wood, polished bone, and genuine antler. Our blades are either stainless or damascus steel, each offering a razor sharp edge. It should be treated as any other fine cutlery: washed by hand with warm, soapy water & dried properly. This ulu was assembled by hand in the U.S.A., with a portion of proceeds benefitting U.S. Veterans.
